Best food ever! Great owners and great staff. Everything done right!

I had chicken and steak fajitas smothered in cheese. The food was hot and tasted great! Always on point with the food and never disappointed. I have yet to find a mexican restraunt with the quality of Don Chico's.

The food tastes great and the portions were big. Only issue I had was the food got too soggy. They doused it in sauce. Tasted good, but too soggy which messed with the texture.

We took our son for his birthday, and the restaurant was absolutely packed so we expected really great food but it wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be. When they brought the chips and salsa I found out right away that's a chips were stale, really flaky and the flavor was not good. When we got our food, my husband's food look like it had just been thrown onto the plate , the plate itself was hot but the food was not and the cheese wasn't even melted. It was too crowded to keep going back when the food is really just mediocre.

Truely the most delicious chicken fajitas and the best tamales of any Mexican Restaurant I've ever eaten at. The sauce on the tamales is spicy, so if you don't like spicy, you may ask if they can forgo it.The fajitas are loaded with tender flavorful chicken and vegetables.

The food was ok. Similar to what you find at any chain style Mexican restaurant. I didn't see an ale carte option to just order tacos, or Mexican style tacos (which I prefer). The service is could definitely be improved. He was wasn't friendlym i actually said the food runner should be the waiter. He was much friendlier. I ended up having to go to my server and ask for my bill so I could leave. He wasn't awful, just not friendly.

Don Chico's has amazing quality Mexican food. It's readily made and I've never had a bad experience there once. The staff are super kind and always check to make sure your food is okay! The set up of the restaurant as well as the art around the restaurant makes you feel very warm and welcome.

Not the greatest visit this time. Waited 30 min. After ordering. Had to ask waitress multiple times for items. Waitress didn't really come to the table except to deliver drinks and our food after we asked what was taking so long from another waitress. Wasn't happy with service or food this visit.

This place was a great find! Skip the Mexican place down the road and head straight to Don Chico's. Our food was excellent, the salsa is tasty, and the margaritas were good.

The staff is very courteous and attentive. Food is promptly prepared and served hot. Nice local restaurant with good service and food. Would recommend when craving Mexican food in Kendalville and driving more than 20 minutes is not preferred.

I’ve dined in multiple times here, and have gotten carry out multiple times. Have never had a problem with over cooked or undercooked food. Until tonight. I did carry out and my daughters fries were burnt, her chicken was super dry. The steak on my tacos was burnt and hard. Don’t know if it just got chaotic with the quarantine but this is not how this place usually is. It could just be a fluke.

The best Mexican restaurant & service I have ever had in a while the food was amazing not one single disappointment are server was on point everything we have asked him 2 he would not hesitate and wait he would do it right away always full when I leave and feel really good eating all that yummy food I will be coimg back for sure
